My name is Sarah Williams, I’m 26 years old and I am a fully Registered/Certificated teacher. I completed my Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) at the University of Canterbury, graduating in 2014. I am a hardworking, enthusiastic and creative person, who enjoys helping people and being part of a team. After graduating I taught at Cobden School in a full time teaching position for 3 years from 2015-2017, gaining my Full Certification in 2017. During 2018 and 2019 I was a Relief Teacher and worked at various schools in Greymouth until moving to Christchurch at the start of 2020. I also worked part-time as a General Office Junior Administrator for Coast Wide Honda in 2019. This year I have been relieving at various Christchurch schools including Burnside Primary and St Martins Primary School. I’ve always had an interest in the arts and have been involved in many local theatre productions in Greymouth with the Greymouth Operatic Society. I was lucky to be cast as Morticia Addams in ‘The Addams Family Musical,’ Raywen in New Zealand written play, ‘Joyful and Triumphant’ by Robert Loyd and Torrey in the Australasian Disney Premiere of ‘Freaky Friday.’I am looking to move away from a 'traditional teaching role' and into something different.
