One of my very first careers was as an Optical Assistant and I practiced this for around 5 years. The opportunity arose to follow my dream and in 2003 I was able to train as a veterinary nurse with Southill Vets. I qualified through Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing in 2006 and became an RCVS RVN. I stayed with Southill and then went on to eventually become head nurse. I had a short break due to having my daughter and returned as an RVN on a part time basis. I became head nurse again but unfortunately suffered an injury to my knee which meant I had to give up veterinary nursing in this practice. I became their Client Care Manager in 2017. I designed,built and maintained their Wordpress website, planned large events, social media and marketing strategies for the company, company’s own pet health care management, writing/editing monthly columns for local newspaper, managing daily emails for multiple accounts, health and safety inspections, organising risk assessments, .......
