My interests lie in event/program conceptualization, planning and execution in the arts and humanities, as well as in outdoor recreation. Nonprofit administration in both the arts and outdoor recreation have been the focus of my professional career. Whether in the visual, musical, cultural or performing arts, for almost 20 years, I have conceptualized, developed, publicized and managed a wide range of events, performances, symposia, workshops, exhibits and outreach programs for adults and youth. Strategic scheduling and planning, as well as developing networks and partnerships, are exciting, rewarding and necessary elements of my work. For many years, I worked with American Alpine Club planning climbing festivals as part of their Craggin' Classic Series. Now I am the Development Director with non-profit Trails Utah (www.trailsutah.org), helping raise funds to design, build, maintain and advocate for trails throughout Utah. I have also sat on multiple boards, in the arts, outdoor recreation and community development. I currently sit on the board of Glendale Community Council as the Chair of the Arts Committee, focused on bringing more arts to our neighborhood. I head up an art discussion group and refurbish furniture on the side, along with climbing mountains and running all of our wonderful trails!Stewardship, volunteerism and advocacy have long been important to me and no matter how busy I get, I always make time to help others out.
