As a daughter of a parent with Multiple Sclerosis, I chose to become a stay-at-home caregiver for 15 years of my life to aid my mother in his care. When he passed away in 2018, I went looking for a job. I ended up at Journey School through mutual friends.At my job, I assist multiple teachers in different classrooms in the education and personal empowerment of its students. I have made lasting bonds there, not just with the students but with my coworkers who I am honored to call dear friends. The life experiences and lessons learned at Journey School will be with me for the rest of my life.
