Six-week internship focusing in dashboard creation via Looker

Although my main role was to assist the Pathology department for Path and IHC review, I also troubleshooted cases for additional departments such as Histology, IHC, Accessioning, and Client Services. Due to the nature of my work , I have a deep understanding on the overall upstream process and how it each department plays a critical role in providing clinical data.

***Peace Corp suspended all positions and evacuated all volunteers and trainees back to America during the Coronavirus pandemic***My work focused on the food security and nutritional improvement in Western Nepal. As a trainee, I received cultural and technical training. My technical training includes IPM, composting, nutrition, and soil conservation. While in Nepal, I learned effective teaching tools and universal interpersonal communication skills.

Working under the Accessioning team, I received and confirmed samples. Throughout the process, I verified the samples through a variety of methods, according to the client's manifests. I also communicate with clients of any sample discrepancies and act accordingly.
