Wrote the monthly outdoors and recreation column—"61 North"— for Alaska Coast Magazine.

While at The Alaska Community Foundation (ACF), I managed the Foundation's Scholarship Program. Working with donors, scholarship recipients, I successfully made systematic, as well relational improvements in the day to day operations of the scholarship program. I also worked with a variety of ACF stakeholders in other arenas as well donor stewardship, and grantmaking and guided many Alaskan non-profits in their grantmaking process.

I began work with Providence Alaska Medical Center as an intern in the Fall of 2012 and continued to work with them as paid staff until 2015. While at PAMC I worked with adults and adolescents in an acute and sub-acute mental health setting. I facilitated treatment groups in accordance with individualized patient treatment plans and liasoned with other patient care providers. I also engaged in program development activities on our unit including attending shared leadership meetings, compiling and distributing our unit newsletter, working with leadership staff to enact unit improvements and grant writing.
