The app has reached an audience of 750,000 since decommissioning the previous outsourced app version and becoming the first React Native built app in the centralised App Factory.• Supported the App Product team in delivering a design-led, new modular design language to scale across multiple brands across the Virgin Media O2 entity, validated by rapid prototyping and user research to then build in React Native within weeks of initial concepts.• Built a team of designers and managed them to successfully deliver the Fixed Mobile Converged App MVP in only 7 months covering 15 features that handles customer lifecycles, error states, happy and unhappy paths whilst maintaining close consistency and using qualitative and quantitative user research for informed design decisions.• Innovated and maintained a dedicated pattern library with design tokens for developers to simplify and unify all React Native builds with common components and tokens directly from Figma and Token Studio prior to Figma’s Variables technology release.• Instigated and developed relationships with trust and transparency with stakeholders to Director level, often delivering concepts and high level prototypes for internal approval and to prove business cases for implementation.• Collaborated and built relationships with all creatives in the area for UX design, copy and research input for an informed understanding of all areas of the business and customer experience affecting journeys in all Apps and instigated support for tokenised web views for seamless integration of web pages where native journeys wouldn’t be built.• Proactive engagement in the strategic development of the App Factory and decisions being made on the Product Roadmaps to further elevate user experience but meeting business needs and expectations. -
