Trained young-adult fellows to teach Decision-Making from the Soul. Fellows ranked DMSoul their #1 leadership training. Coached Life Together principals through their organizational decisions. Designed and led retreats on “Who Am I at My Core?”, facilitated multiple-day team-building and leadership trainings, and coached fellows’ social justice campaigns. Coached social-justice teams mobilizing at Sewanee: the University of the South’s School of Theology and in Northern Texas. Taught Marshall Ganz’s community-organizing skills to foster individual growth, team effectiveness, and achievement of campaign goals. Created and led an initiative to support Harvard students in following Rumi’s guidance:“Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you truly love.” Facilitatedsmall groups of individuals from a variety of faith traditions and no faith tradition in silent reflection, respectful sharing and feedback, and mindful action.

Led a section of 16 students through Marshall Ganz's community-organizing curriculum. Modeled and taught leadership skills. Coached students' social-justice campaigns. Participated in intensive peer coaching and learning with Marshall Ganz and fellow TF’s.

Led a student through weekly theological reflections and vocational discernment. Taught an Independent Reading and Research course to support the unique expression of a student’s Buddhist ministry.

Advised clients on technology and licensing transactions and intellectual property strategy, specializing in open source software licensing and strategy. Provided pro-bono corporate legal counsel to Burma Border Projects and the Sufi Order International.

Worked with leaders in Ghana’s public and private sectors to evaluate and create legal andregulatory conditions needed to catalyze digital entrepreneurship and innovation. Legal research included telecommunications regulations, real and intellectual property rights, import and export rules, laws governing foreign direct investment and freedom of information, energy regulation, and government procurement rules.

Drafted and reviewed technology and software license agreements for U.S. and European clients; represented Houghton Mifflin Company in its sale to Vivendi Universal; and represented Praecis Pharmaceuticals in a follow-on public offering of shares on the Nasdaq and CMGI, Inc. in a note and warrant purchase. Pro bono work included developing a partnership between Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet & Society and Skadden’s Boston, New York and Washington, D.C. offices and representing Burma Border Projects in its application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.

Drafted and reviewed license agreements and beta test agreements; conducted research on content regulation by Internet service providers and the enforceability of non-compete agreements in the new economy; represented a media client in auction bid; conducted diligence on a variety of acquisition targets; and researched securities issues for foreign companies listing shares on U.S. exchanges. Pro bono work included drafting incorporation documents for Burma Border Projects.

Represented a French client in the acquisition of a U.S. chemical storage company, and anAmerican client in its acquisition of a Polish translation company.

Volunteered for pilot program to teach English to the lowest-paid employees at Harvard; taught English to service and kitchen staff at the Harvard Faculty Club.

Led educational tours for American high-school students through France and Northern Spain; provided historical and cultural commentary; supported students in their navigation of – and adjustment to – new terrain. Supported U.S. language teachers in the development and design of their trips abroad.
