Forest School Association recognised provider of Forest School.Our Forest School sessions focus on providing a space for child-led play and nature connection in our beautiful woodland, some of our activities include, mud kitchen fun, stream play, tree climbing, tool use, cooking on and lighting fires, crafts, nature detectives, scavenger hunting, plus so many more usually invented by the children!Forest School has proven benefits to heath and wellbeing, it promotes holistic development, mental wellbeing and plenty of joy!The Forest School Association describe the 6 principles of Forest School and you can read more about it here:

Private one to one teaching of Science and Maths, small groups of home educated children and Science hands-on classes to larger groups of home educated children. I plan and prepare targeted sessions for groups and individuals to make learning engaging and fun, allowing the students to get the most from the subject. Ages ranges from 6-18 years

During my time at HRS I have taught KS3 and KS4 Science and Biology at AS and A level. Also I have experience of running individually tailored small Science Intervention groups for a range of student attainment levels at KS4. I planned and delivered enrichment sessions for Year 12 Biology, including a day trip to Norwich Research Park and the John Innes Centre, where students were given tours and presentations by scientists and PhD students.

Role included: science outreach activities for primary and secondary schools in the Cambridgeshire area; organising work experience placements for students: running activities for schools and presenting at events such as Cambridge Science Festival, along with press and media relations and internal communications to the campus.
