Sarah has built a career within the aviation industry that has spanned a range of civil and military roles including; operational, safety and leadership roles as safety postholder and transitioning into a consulting role. This has given her a broad experience set which has fed her passion for the aviation industry and its combination of technology and human interaction; the development and improvement in areas such as safety, security and environment; and the pivotal role that aviation plays in society. Sarah’s career has focussed on managing and delivering safety and operational efficiency improvement initiatives, gaining significant knowledge in operational air traffic environments, aircraft airworthiness, aircraft maintenance, and flight operations. More recently, this has evolved into supporting drone operators and other future flight organisations as they endeavour to integrate safely and efficiently within the industry. She is responsible for the development of the end-to-end safety assessment, using the JARUS SORA methodology as a guide towards Regulator considerations for a BVLOS zone trial. She is also managing the project’s input to the Cranfield University Airport airspace change proposal, driving the trial application and activities within this work package. • Sarah is leading a small team conducting an independent and holistic review of Aquilas current environmental sustainability activities and their road to net zero, to identify areas for improvement and develop a roadmap to take them to net zero by 2035. Sarah is also leading Ebeni’s Future Air Mobility Service Line’s Marketing campaign, to engage and provide thought provoking discussion to industry.
