I am currently attending UNLV / ThriveDX Cybersecurity Bootcamp to become a cyber professional. I've spent the last 15+ years in a customer service based role, and I'm looking to transition into a new career path that aligns with my values and personal goals, and allows me to enjoy family life with my spouse and children. I have experience with network infrastructure/security and IT, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) compliance factors, and project management with small projects that I am looking to make use of and expand on. I'm a driven problem solver with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and using my skills in Linux, Microsoft OS and AWS Cloud systems. I am currently focused on developing skills in network and cloud security and pursuing AWS cloud certifications, defensive cybersecurity and pursuing CompTIA Sec+ certification, and python programming/scripting language, while utilizing tools such as Wireshark, Active Domain, and Nmap in security simulations.Key Skills and Tools: IDS/IPS, AWS, Cisco IOS, Microsoft Security, ACLs, networking, Python, WiresharkIf you share similar interests to me and are open to communication and dialogue then let's connect and get to know one another and start networking together!
