Sarah Basil Email and Phone Number
Hi! 🤗 I’m Sarah Basil, a current undergraduate at Stevens Institute of Technology majoring in Computer Science who is super passionate about merging technology with creativity and design, and loves to learn new things! 🎨🧠💡I resonate with all things related to art, design, technology, machine learning, data analysis and artificial intelligence---anything that will allow me to bring out my creativity and design mindset to create better designs or innovative solutions for real-world problems. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to any tool or medium that allowed me to express my creativity—whether it was designing simple drawings in Microsoft Paint or creating Scratch programs. As I grew, I realized the vast potential of technology to bring creative solutions to life, and I’ve delved into the world of ML/AI, alongside my love for art and design. My journey has been shaped by hands-on projects and experiences where I’ve been able to develop my skills in Python, Java, C, C++, HTML, CSS, and creative tools like Adobe Suite, all to serve people and deliver impactful results. Check out some of my work here! --> https://github.com/Sarah-BasilMy most rewarding experiences include opportunities where I was able to really apply my skills, serve people, and partake in designing solutions. Working on web design and multimedia projects for Finally Home allowed me to balance creative design with technical expertise to create meaningful results, while learning firsthand from local business professionals and industry experts. Recently, I also had the opportunity to join Break Through Tech AI, a program that empowers women and non-binary individuals to thrive in the tech industry! Here, I was able to lead a lab group in developing machine learning models and engage with various peers and professionals. This experience not only deepened my skills in data analysis, programming, and leadership, but reinforced a passion for diversifying the tech industry. I’m excited to continue connecting with like-minded peers, mentors, and professionals in this ever-evolving tech and design fields, in order to construct meaningful, powerful, and inclusive innovations that can inspire change and touch the future!
