After 4+ successful years as a self-employed HR Consultant, I am now enjoying an in-house role as Head of Talent Acquisition for EMEA.Moving into a global role has really helped me to understand the needs of a fast-moving, international business. Technology is key and a big focus of my role is to understand local resourcing needs and translate those into a regional strategy that makes the most of the systems at our disposal. It's no good thinking small - you've got to go big!My previous role at Holland & Barrett used my project management skills to deliver improved efficiency in the recruitment process and to attract top talent to this well-known high street brand. This built on my experience at glh Hotels where I was using my skills to source excellent talent and bring those people into a business was both challenging and exciting. My team and I delivered some great results in this area and once we brought in those people, the journey didn't stop there.
