As a veterinary nursing student, it is important to remember that pets are like family and we must provide the best care that we can possibly give. It is my passion to provide the best care for your loved ones. As nurses, we should never forget that learning and teaching others is the most valuable thing we can give to this world. We are advocates for our patients, and we deserve better treatment than we are currently receiving. Those in the veterinary community should aspire to others and lift each other up in our times of need. Let's end the stigma on mental health and create the best profession that we can be.To combat the stigma of mental health and promote self-care within the veterinary field, I have created a product that ships self-care items and fun clinical use items each quarter to veterinary professionals. During the lockdown of 2020, I was looking for a subscription box that would help me stay motivated to continue my journey in veterinary nursing.
