Sarah has more than 15 years B2C experience in addition to B2B experience through commercial and supply deals at Lime, Yum! Brands and British Telecom. Sarah is a multi-disciplinary business counselor, crisis manager, communications and legal expert in startups especially in the intersection of new tech and law issues.Sarah is a member of the Lime executive team and leads legal, trust & safety and insurance for Lime, the largest operator of shared micromobilty vehicles (e-bikes and e-scooters) globally. Lime operates in more than 300 cities across more than 30 countries in North America, Europe and Asia-Pac. Sarah also acts as company secretary for the Lime Board.Sarah’s teams are involved in almost every aspect of the Lime business operations and handle global complex regulatory and public sector matters; high profile litigation in US & EU; all corporate, M&A, employee equity and cap table matters; software, hardware and app management on a global scale and employment /labor issues. Prior to Lime, Sarah was a member of the executive team for Pizza Hut Europe & UK, first as General Counsel and latterly as Chief Development Officer. Sarah led the company response to the Covid-19 pandemic, led franchisee and stakeholder management with all major global franchisees in Europe and negotiated transformational deals with delivery aggregator companies as well developing the global digital transformation playbook . Sarah spent 6 years at British Telecom in London in various in-house roles including as General Counsel of Plusnet. She started her career as a corporate attorney at Clifford Chance LLP in London and also spent time practicing in Abu Dhabi.Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the London School of Economics and completed her legal degree at the University of London (BPP and College of Law). She was admitted as a solicitor to the Bar of England & Wales in 2009. Sarah speaks frequently at Tech GC and American Law Media events and is in The Lawyer Hot 100 for 2024. Sarah is married with two children and lives in the Bay Area, having moved to the United States from London in 2022.
