I specialise in commercial and property transactions including business and property sales and acquisitions and leasing. I have previously owned and managed several businesses, giving me a commercial perspective and a thorough understanding of the needs and concerns of clients. I have expertise in a broad range of commercial transactions, including buying and selling businesses and property, establishing bodies corporate and subdivisions, due diligence issues, retail and commercial leasing arrangements and risk management. I work closely with clients on resolving disputes and negotiating entry into and termination of contracts and leases to achieve the desired commercial outcome while minimising risk. I work with listed institutions, funds management companies, government organisations and private investors. After starting my career as a journalist, I moved to Vanuatu to work in and manage a number of tourism related businesses before moving into the law. I spend my weekends with my two children, my spouse and a menagerie of pets. I love watching the cricket, beach holidays, early morning bike rides, horse riding, spending time with my children and family, reading bedtime stories and drinking champagne.
