With a BSN degree and a certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, I am currently employed as a Protocol Monitor-Manager II at the Jaeb Center for Health Research. The Jaeb Center has a primary focus of coordinating diabetes research trials. The majority of the trials I’ve monitored and managed have been related to diabetes technologies, including automated insulin delivery, many of which led to 510k clearance of the devices. In this role I present at investigator meetings, perform site qualification visits, estimate supply needs, develop case report forms, and monitor data remotely and on-site.Throughout my career as a diabetes educator, a research coordinator and a monitor, I have especially enjoyed working with diabetes technologies such as insulin delivery systems and continuous glucose monitors. I have co-authored papers for research work I've done, and have presented at a professional organization's annual meeting.
