Sarah is a legal consultant at Climate Focus and a French-qualified attorney, admitted to the Paris bar. She specializes in international climate law and policy, carbon markets, and climate finance. Sarah is experienced in providing policy and regulatory support to governments on establishing the optimal legal structure for the development of the voluntary and compliance markets in the context of the Paris Agreement. Sarah also regularly works for private clients, including on legal considerations related to voluntary carbon markets or Article 6 activities and transactions. Sarah also closely follows the development of a range of new regulations dealing with corporate disclosures of sustainability-related information. Last but not least, Sarah has extensive experience leading policy analyses in Sub-Saharan countries, especially on forestry and land-use related topics in Central Africa. She is regularly involved in projects aiming to support the fight against deforestation in the Congo Basin.
