In college, I had a passion for theatre – but frankly, I was not seeing a path to a career. In retrospect, it was quite natural for me to gravitate to marketing, and that’s been an ideal life choice. I still love the effect of a good story on an audience. This craving to be creative, and my left brain’s ability to make order of data, enable me to develop exciting marketing plans and execute every detail. It’s pure joy when my team and I create a campaign that helps my internal clients exceed their goals and delights their audience.I am a skilled marketing professional with an MBA from Rockhurst University and industry experience including SaaS, healthcare, enterprise software, consumer electronics, and real estate/shelter.Specialties: Omnichannel campaigns, Strategic Planning, Digital marketing, Branding, Corporate Identity, Paid social media, Organic social media, Public Relations, Event planning, Creative services

Senior Content Marketing ManagerCloudsaver Jan 2022 - Mar 2023Overland Park, Kansas, United StatesCalling upon my experience in building marketing functions for startups and expanding marketing in large corporations, I gave a marketing voice and presence to CloudSaver. I worked hand-in-glove with the marketing director to build a marketing presence, function, and structure from the ground up. In one year, we built marketing infrastructure, defined market presence, wrote, designed and created all content from industry leading white papers to hard hitting data sheets to product landing pages. As only the second employee in the marketing department, together we grew the team to define functions for social media, copywriting, design, and event coordination. I established CloudSaver’s voice and tone including messaging framework, established our online digital presence, including organic and paid media channels for LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, orchestrated an eye-catching presence at industry and trade events, and developed webinars and in-person sales events. As part of a dynamic team we executed multi-channel marketing campaigns including defining audience, messaging and channels for our managed services and product lines. We conceived and executed an award-winning direct mail ABM campaign. We pivoted part way through the year to launch our first SaaS product including product talking points, features and benefits, product press releases, supporting content, and developed and orchestrated multi-channel campaigns including messaging, audience, channels, and cadence. In year one we grew our online audience from 200 to more than 3,000. With targeted and thoughtful marketing, we aided the company in doubling revenue in one year. -
Sr. Marketing Partner, Digital StrategyCerner Corporation Jun 2019 - Jan 2022Kansas City, MoAs an accomplished marketer who managed marketplace complexities and developed elegant, omnichannel campaigns, I was invited to bring my track record of success to the digital team. It was exciting to have the chance to provide leadership across multiple stakeholders to help plan, direct, and execute omnichannel campaigns for demand generation.Working in tandem with analytics experts, I helped to develop and utilize metric-driven best practices, including Cerner and industry benchmarks. I guide 12 product marketers, across matrixed product lines, serving as a strategist and consultant, to strengthen product branding and realize campaign success. Together we manage an average of 30+ campaigns annually.I work cross-functionally and orchestrate multiple channel disciplines within Cerner to create cohesive and results-oriented campaigns with measurable results. Campaign budgets very greatly but tend to be lean, requiring a creative approach. Campaign budgets range from no budget for outside services and marketing channels to the upper end of $200k. Campaign channels include email, paid and organic social media, direct mail, sponsored advertising, public relations, industry partnerships, and events.Cerner made the leap in 2020, a few months before COVID hit, to transition to the #1 CRM platform, SalesForce. I helped lead the adoption, onboarding and training of Pardot (the marketing app within SalesForce) within the marketing team of 23 associates, transitioning our email campaigns from Click Dimensions to Pardot. Working with internal Cerner analytics partners to become a SME for the functionality and capability of the platform, I helped organize the training, launch, and follow-up to minimize business and campaign disruption. As an internal consultant I gave guidance for email constructs, testing, and best practices. My contributions offered a holistic picture of marketing saturation within our client base and prospects and improved campaign marketing efficiency. -
Sr. Marketing Partner, Integrated MarketingCerner Corporation Oct 2016 - Jun 2019Kansas City, MoMany large employers are self-insured for employee health benefits, and I helped lead a marketing team initiative to introduce the Population Health business unit into non-traditional markets. The concept was to build and staff employee health clinics for large, self-insured employers including Dr. Pepper, Land O’Lakes, City of Lenexa, and St. Louis-Kansas City Carpenters Regional Council. These employee clinics include proactive health initiatives that give associates the knowledge and healthcare access to be healthy. I worked to earn a close collaborative relationship with the direct sales team, and we secured proven results in this niche market, nearly tripling sales in 3 years, with an average sales cycles of 18 months. Taking the marketing lead on a special initiative in Malvern, PA, we built on the employee clinic concept, marketing a subscription health clinic model to mid-sized area employers. We leveraged paid social geo-fencing, account-based email marketing, media PR partners, local events and direct mail. After a successful launch and year-long campaign, I transitioned the project to new team. With budgets up to $100K, I developed annual marketing plans to support sales goals. I led and executed the creative development of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including industry trade publication advertising, direct mail, email, and tradeshows. -
Marketing CommunicationsNorth Kansas City Hospital Oct 2011 - Oct 2016North Kansas City, MoI marketed a large area community hospital to a variety of healthcare audiences including B2B and B2C. Hospitals maintain a healthy bottom line when physicians refer their patients both in-network and to a hospital. Concentrating on this influential physician audience, I built trusted relationships within the physician network and promoted physicians, service specialists, and hospital facilities to primary care physicians and the community. In earning the physician’s trust, I gained access to report on in-depth information, including reporting and filming inside the surgery suite. I promoted and onboarded an electronic health record (EHR) uplift to physicians increasing hospital efficiencies and compliance. The multi-channel approach I created used natural competitiveness among physicians to increase adoption. The multi-faceted campaign included direct communications (emails, newsletters and screen savers), training events, signage inside secure physician hospital access areas, physician advocates, and in-person tech support. This launch won rapid adoption and success. As part of a tight-knit marketing team, I participated in strategic planning and budget development; managed public relations efforts, including securing physician spokesperson; directed third-party vendors, including graphic designers, writers and printers; participated in digital channels including web site content and social posts, and managed multiple projects in a dynamic and demanding environment. As the reporter, writer, and editor for the sought-after physician newsletter, I sourced stories, researched medical topics and procedures, interviewed physicians, and wrote 12 physician newsletters annually. After researching and discovering that individual practices have a culture that directed physicians toward either digital or print mediums, we chose to produce both a print and digital version of each newsletter. I promoted 15-18 new specialty procedures annually to primary care physicians. -
Marketing Communications ManagerMidland Radio Corporation May 2010 - Oct 2011Led an electronics manufacturer's marketing efforts to both B2C and B2B. I launched 2 new product lines in 18 months, from package design through marketing. Updated 12 consumer product lines annually, including all identity, brand, and web elements, for Black Friday promotions. During my tenure I also pioneered public relations and social media presence. Accountabilities included product line strategy and branding, managing the creative team, designing and implementing national tradeshows (including Consumer Electronics Show, CES), managing marketing budgets and vendor relationships
