Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, their executions and highlight outcomes to be presented to the company Board of Directors. Assist in creation and follow through of an annual work plan and blocking chart. Oversee the development of a minimum of 12 innovative recipes, ensuring they are following current food trends and are inclusive to Ontario consumer culinary skill levels. Responsible for company promotional materials including procurement, managing inventory and order fulfillment. Special event planning and execution including Annual Meeting Store, Omelette Breakfast, volunteer recruitment for local fairs and sponsorship events including the CNE, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, OMHA Championship Weekends, Algonquin College culinary classes and Easter and World Egg Day public campaigns. Aid in on-boarding of new employees to the Public Affairs team. Orchestrate staff involvement for internal programs such as Easter and World Egg Day market campaigns as well as corporate events, recognizing staff strengths and weaknesses to allow for proper task allocation. Initiate communication with various industry organizations and sponsorship groups to further relationships and build innovative outreach programs and assets. Motivate colleagues during team brainstorming sessions, task collaboration and through general support when needed.Work within the Public Affairs team to budget for and execute comprehensive marketing programs, special projects and promotional materials as part of a combined budget of $3 million. Amplify reach of budget by navigating fixed costs while negotiating for maximum value for the money spent. Negotiate project-based outcomes within preset budgets for numerous partnerships and campaigns.

Develop and deliver a monthly and annual social media strategy. Strategy includes content calendar for various social media platforms as well as content for monthly consumer focused e-newsletter and creation of press releases. Continually promoting awareness of company social media and e-newsletter. Meet strict deadlines for posting industry and consumer related information in a timely manner. Familiar with marketing tools such as Hootsuite and Canva. Ensure all promotional materials meet brand standards. Redesign and rebrand the company website, includes visual design as well as user-friendly functionality. Worked closely as part of a team to develop and deliver a unified message from the company via website, social media and print copies of promotional materials. Coordinate and facilitate complete process for outreach events, including contract negotiations, set up and tear down as well as contacting and organizing volunteers for duration of event. Events include: Canadian National Exhibition, Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and various other events across the province. Also responsible for facilitation of internal corporate events such as Annual Meetings and producer facing workshops.

IMPACT - Innovative Management & Practical Animal Care Training- Work with a team to develop and deliver a multi-species suite of farm animal care training resources.- Consulted with industry on what training is currently available and what practical options would be useful on-farm- Work with industry,veterinarians as well as government to ensure all resources are up to industry standard and abide by Codes of Practice- Communicate with industry, both farm level and agri-businesses, to raise awareness and interest in these resources- Develop a deep understanding of the content in Canadian Codes of Practice as well as their development processes- Attend producer meetings and present the resources that are available to those commodities, this may include trade show representation or presentations

As the administrative assistant in the office I provided support to staff for day-to-day activities. Duties included fielding phone calls and visitors, word processing, creating excel spreadsheets and presentations and filing.Other seasonal duties included working trade show booths at industry events such as Canada Blooms and Canadian Greenhouse Conference. I also co-chaired the planning and organizing committees for events run out of the office such as the Annual Meeting, Member Saving Symposium and the Annual Cecil Delworth Foundation Charity Golf Tournament.Working part time with the Marketing Manager, I was the lead on developing the Canadian Greenhouse Growers' Directory. Duties on this project included soliciting listings and advertisements as well as creating a mailing list. This project was partially funding by the Agri-Marketing Project, which means that detailed timelines and budgets must be adhered to.
