I am an atypical millennial that loves reading tangible books and listening to records, but my strongest passion is health and fitness. Of course, the phrase "health and fitness" does not mean the same thing to every person. To me, health and fitness not only refers to one's physical well-being, which is definitely important, but it also includes financial well-being. Financial well-being starts with planning for what will inevitably happen to all of us at some point (hopefully, far down the road!).Contrary to what most people believe, estate planning is not just for the ultra-wealthy. Everyone can benefit from planning, especially if minor or disabled children are involved. It is even more important to plan if you have a blended family; I bet you'd be surprised as to what the "default" would be in your situation (i.e., what would happen to your assets and your children if you pass away without a plan in place).
