Oceti Sakowin - Sicangu Lakota. I specialize in public health-based administration, advocacy, and policy with a focus on tribal and state entities. Currently interested in program development and evaluation, chronic disease prevention, advocating for tribal self-determination and tribal sovereignty within western ideological systems, and community-based participatory research. I received an AS degree in the naturalsciences with a chemistry emphasis from Haskell Indian Nations University and a BSW degree from the University of Kansas. I also earned an MSW with a focus on administration, advocacy, and policy from the University of Kansas. I currently reside in Minneapolis, MN.
