I am an enthusiastic and energetic changemaker and leader in the field of human rights, social impact and gender with 10 years’ experience working on preventing and responding to violence against women, gender equality, modern slavery, civil-military engagement, peace and security, human rights in business and logistics in humanitarian responses.I have helped create a more gender-responsive and inclusive environment for military institutions by developing and implementing strategy and policy that reflects international commitments to the role of women in preventing, responding to and managing conflict. Most recently, my work with UN Women Liberia focused on assisting the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces to mainstream gender and create a more inclusive operating environment.I have extensive human rights and social impact consulting experience through my roles with the United Nations (UN) and various Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) including the Australian Red Cross. I am enthusiastic about growing my knowledge academically; I hold a Masters degree in Human Rights and in 2019 I was awarded a prestigious fellowship to conduct research on gender, peace and security with Monash University.I have a vast array of project management and client facing experience working with women and girls impacted by sexual and gender based violence. I also have expertise working with members of the migrant community, particularly those who are seeking asylum or of refugee background, to navigate Australia's visa system.I am passionate about being at the forefront of change, analysing what it truly means to drive social change, and assist organisations to address structural inequalities to create a safe and happy environment for employees and to ensure human rights for all.

A key offering of the WLI is the Leadership and Mentoring Program which is offered to 35 outstanding Pacific women scholars each year. I mentored a Papua New Guinean women called Paula. Paula is interested in setting up a women’s empowerment project for her community, which focuses on addressing issues of gender based/domestic violence. -
