-Instructor: Naval Operations and Seamanship; Navigation.-Company Officer: Ensure students are being groomed and developed for their future appointments and Naval Officers.

From 2008-2010, I was the Combat Fire Division Officer on board USS REUBEN JAMES (FFG 57). I oversaw preventative and corrective maintenance of the Closed-In Weapon System (CIWS), various radar consoles, and the MK-92 Fire Control System. I was also the Legal Officer and the Command Citizenship Coordinator on board. From 2010-2012, I was the Auxiliaries Officer on board USS LAKE ERIE (CG 70). On board LAKE ERIE, I oversaw the maintenance and repairs of multiple auxiliary systems during a dry-docking availability and at-sea. Vital systems to include potable water, air conditioning plants, refrigeration, high and low-pressure air, etc. I was also the Quality Assurance Officer/Departures from Specifications Manager.

Assisted students and librarians with research. Restocked shelves using the Library of Congress Classification system. I also assisted students with finding and viewing microfiche.
