Editing and writing for web and print, producing private business and agri-business publications, event management and communications, and sponsorship management.

I delivered effective communications and PR for more than 40 events for the business magazine titles. I coordinated all internal and external communications, event websites, stakeholder engagement, advertising and social media. I project-led the Unlimited Investment Challenge (www.unlimited.co.nz/investmentchallenge), which aims to grow New Zealand businesses through business planning, mentoring and pitch preparation. I developed strong business relationships with stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, public/private companies, sustainable business experts, editors, journalists and a range of community and business organisations to help promote the events to help grow the magazine brands.

Boosting immunisation rates through marketing and stakeholder engagement was the focus of this role. I chaired a provincial working group; collaborating with key people and communicating targeted messages to audiences using a full marketing mix. I managed www.immunizebc.ca; putting put together a long-term strategy for search engine optimisation, usability analysis, social media interaction and Google and Facebook advertising.

This role involved communications for a £250,000 literacy campaign in London's most multi-cultural borough - Hackney. Alongside an outcome-driven team, I delivered a targeted programme including social marketing, events, marketing, PR and wide community engagement.

From deadly toxins to active transport; this challenging position involved raising the organisation's profile and increasing awareness of public health issues. I developed campaigns focused on behaviour change supported by PR, events and advertising.
