Profile bio

About Sarah Weinhardt

I love being a Product Leader. I love the process of creating fully fledged business solutions that started as ideas on a white board. I love building relationships with customers, learn how they do business and create something that makes their lives better. I get to impact the direction of the industry with new ideas to solve old problems.I started as a pilot, eyes on the airlines, branching into flight instructing logging hours and seeing how people perform under stress.I leaped at a change, going from a flight instructor to a coordinator moving large jets across the world. A move that was a new direction expanding my perspective on my career.Another opportunity, I began a role as a product manager. Again, seeing a career I never knew possible interacting with customers I used to work with in past jobs. Now I moved into a SaaS Product Leader, challenging the thinking in a big company, solving expensive problems with fast, simple software.Over my career I'm proud of so much1. I created the vision and lead the team launching the industry’s leading Business Aviation connectivity website, making internet to Biz jets simple2. I’ve released countless product updates, 4 Native iOS apps, 3 websites, and one flight planning engine3. I’ve rescued a dying product line, making tough calls to make it viable. Within 18 months, I took the business from (42%) margin to a 15% and built a new, client-driven roadmap and plan4. I dispatched two B767 rescue flights. First to Japan after the Tsunami in 2011 with supplies and rescue crew. Second to Ciro Egypt in 2013 to rescue embassy personnel stranded after the coup5. I’ve taught 35+ students how to fly, from their first flight through to becoming commercial pilots6. Every chance I get, I stretch my creative fingers sewing clothes, quilts, or cover myself in saw dust as I rip apart and build myself a new closet7. This is how I sum up my job…I get to change the industry. I create products that help people do their jobs better and help their lives8. This is how I sum up me…I appear quiet until you get to know me but I’m always moving, thinking, imagining, whether it’s a new software idea, a farmhouse table, or a baby quilt for my nephew, I never stop creatingEXPERIENCEProduct Life Cycle, P&L Management, Marketing & Pricing, Business Development, Portfolio Strategy, Roadmaps, Competitive Analytics, User Experience, Software Development Agile, Voice of the Customer, Program Management, B2B SaaS, Partnerships, Contract Negotiations, Cross Functional leadership, Team Development, Marketing Strategies
