In my current role I am Deputy Director and Head of Communications and Engagement at Alfred Health (The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham Hospitals, Melbourne Sexual Health Centre). With over 25 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, brand and stakeholder engagement, I oversee a multidisciplinary team which includes internal and corporate communication, brand, website and our creative design studio.

This position oversaw the creation and execution of the Bunnings Community Strategy, with significant stakeholder collaboration at a strategic and operational level. Its core focus was to manage and drive the company’s community activities, with a focus on revitalising activity following COVID-19. In 2022 Bunnings raised and contributed $29million through over 54,000 activities.

In this role I was responsible for Internal Communications and Engagement across Australia and New Zealand, including building and leading a team of seven, culture and brand building and issues management. This included oversight of operational and companywide reactive and strategic communications plans, measurement and evaluation.

In this role I led the creation of a marketing communications strategy for SUGOI and managed the development and output of all associated tactics. Focus on the following areas: media relations, division communications, internal and executive communications as well as management of the international public relations agencies.Particular emphasis in this role:- Public Relations strategy and tactics, financial/budgeting and evaluation/analysis, all with a goal of building SUGOI’s brand awareness in the US, Canada and Europe - Media relations, building personal relationships with specialist journalists to ensure an increase of positive media coverage- Stakeholder Management including PR agencies based in New York and Germany and SUGOI’s “Brand Champion” community ambassador group- Represent SUGOI and its mission to news media and key global stakeholders, acting as division spokesperson- Strategy development and execution of key social media campaigns and consumer promotions- Lead copywriter, ensuring that all internal and external marketing communications feature consistent language in order to introduce branding consistency
