I am a climate change and project development expert currently based in Cape Town, South Africa. I have worked closely with international development agencies, non-profit organisations, and sub-national, national and regional stakeholders in more than 15 countries across the Global South. My expertise includes development of donor-funded projects to access finance from the GCF and GEF, adaptation planning, the global climate change policy environment, and project management. I have worked at both the national and municipality level and believe strongly in the importance of multilevel governance approaches. My interests lie specifically in adaptation and resilience, project development, climate finance and climate justice.I completed my BSc, BSc (Hons) and MSc degree in Conservation Biology at the University of Cape Town and have co-authored three peer-reviewed publications in the conservation and ecology space. I am a stereotypical nature-lover and have, since a young age, cherished family trips to the bushveld. I love bird-watching and have recently begun expanding my bird list. I am incredibly passionate about reducing our impact on the planet and believe that a combination of combating climate change, building local communities' resilience, and increasing conservation efforts can positively contribute to healing our planet.
