I work with both individual and couples from a holistic and integrative perspective. This means I work to understand how all aspects of a client and their lives are affected by their joys and struggles. I assist in learning to transform the negative thoughts and fear-based feelings that may be keeping clients "lost" or "stuck". I help clients learn to respond more deliberately and effectively to life's inevitable transitions/events. I guide clients toward a place of empowerment, health, safety and peace. As growth and transformation take hold when mind, body, and spirit are engaged, I use a range of approaches, including relational, experiential, somatic, trauma-focused, and mindfulness-based therapies. I also utilize yoga and yogic perspectives. My approach is equally informed by evidence-based practices (including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Gestalt Therapy, EMDR, Harm Reduction Therapy) as it is in my collaborative work with each clients unique growth process.
