I am in charge of Fahari ya Jamii HR functions, a USAID funded project for our client, University of Nairobi.Duties & Responsibilities:• In charge of the HR function in BlumeAfrica reporting to the director.• Designing, communicating and implementation of sustainable HR strategies and policies for the project.• Formulation of talent acquisition processes to achieve the project manpower planning objectives• Maintain excellent relationships with our clients, project staff both internal and external stakeholders.• Follow up with BlumeAfrica internal staff to ensure end-to-end talent acquisition is achieved.• Payroll management of over 1200 healthcare workers ensuring statutory timelines are met by use of HR&L System.• In charge of staff time sheets, leave management and employee records. • Working with stakeholders and Ministry of Health to streamline talent acquisition processes for healthcare workers.• Coordinate and manage employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; staff team building activities• Handle disciplinary issues and keep records of disciplinary meetings in the employee’s files as per company policy.• Timely and accurate data maintenance and reporting on the HR database system• Monitoring of human resource’s budget.
