Hello! I'm Sarah Cronk, the Operations Manager at Switchplane, based in the (mostly) sunny town of Eastbourne. Switchplane provides custom software engineering and AI consultancy for SMEs, supporting growth and making meaningful change in SMEs across the UK. In simple terms, we create apps, develop software, and harness AI tools that make your life better in some way.As part of the leadership team, I am the glue that keeps people and projects moving seamlessly, juggling many plates across the realms of operations, marketing, client liaison, process and capacity planning, and ESG. My expertise is in project management, process optimisation, and performance improvements. I'm the go-to person for planning staff capacities, facilitating projects, and serving as the main point of contact for our clients.In addition to my operational roles, I have a strong background in marketing and am a Chartered Marketer. Specialising in content creation, email marketing, and social media management, I manage the marketing activities for Switchplane, our SaaS products, and the Chalk Eastbourne community.I'm passionate about fostering a digital community in Eastbourne to support our local economy, boosting the creative, digital and tech sector in the South East. I run the successful annual one-day Eastbourne DigiFest conference (coming soon on 10th October 2024).Before Switchplane, I honed my language, project management, and digital marketing skills in the translation, medical, and pharmaceutical sectors. I also have experience in education and tourism. I've even spent 18 months working in France, gaining invaluable international experience - including working in Disneyland Paris!Educationally, I hold a BA in Languages and European Studies and an MA in Translation Studies.
