Leads data analysis and reporting efforts for Ellen MacArthur Foundation (EMF) Reporting to enable company to accurately disclose progress towards the committed EMF 2025 targets. Established criteria, calculations and glidepath plans for company’s Virgin Plastic Reduction goals, which allowed for submission to EMF for public commitment. Created sustainability glidepaths for packaging and drove alignment with cross category teams on project execution needed to meet company internal and external sustainability targets. Researched design guidance from Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) and Recyclass to develop company standards for plastic packaging design and guidance for project teams on more sustainable packaging choices. Developed web applications for assessing recyclability of packaging and integrated tools into the packaging development process to empower project teams to design products with recyclability in mind. Collaborated with APR to develop custom on-site training for packaging engineers to provide education on the recycling process and deep dive into needed changes for optimum recyclability in current packaging. Managed various cross functional teams in the development and commercialization of new registered products within the home cleaning products division. Led workstream in developing training material for improving the quality of scoping documents which was rolled out to project managers globally, providing guidance on critical content needed to ensure project clarity and team efficiency. Navigated the complexities of US regulations with consumer product placement and drove project team and external suppliers to successfully execute IHUT and obtain consumer preference insight to advance product design.
