❖ Establish and maintain a classroom true to the Montessori philosophy, paying particular attention to the needs of students.❖ Design and implement long-range plans and unit plans for Grade 2, 3, and 4 that demonstrate creativity, inter-discipline connections, and enrichment of curricular topics❖ Utilize effective classroom management to create apositive learning environment❖ Assess, monitor, and report on student behavior❖ Maintain strong relationships and communication with parents to inform them of their child’s progress

❖ Prepare and implement lesson plans in accordance with the Ontario curriculum❖ Design and implement long-range plans and unit plans that demonstrate creativity, inter-discipline connections, and enrichment of curricular topics❖ Utilize effective classroom management to create a positive learning environment❖ Assess, monitor, and report on student behaviour❖ Create supportive relationships and rapport with students, parents and colleagues

❖ Oversee daily administrative operations for JK-grade 8 students ❖ Assist in planning events and implementing curriculum for JK-Grade 8 classrooms ❖ Handle relations with parents, students, employers, and the community❖ Liaise with partner institutions, other institutions, external agencies, government departments and prospective students

❖ Active involvement in the operation and delivery of the camp programs❖ Plan, monitor and evaluate the services provided❖ Recommend changes to program, where appropriate❖ Train, supervise and direct program staff❖ Maintain highly effective client, community relations within programs.

❖ Work individually with clients and co-lead Social Skills Group❖ Provide a positive, stimulating and safe physical environment for children and youth❖ Plan, supervise, participate, evaluate social skills and recreational activities❖ Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team model for communication and case planning and support❖ Utilizing a variety of interventions, skilled in counseling and group work, skilled in promoting self-regulation, knowledge and trauma informed approaches and child development

❖ Responsible for preparing lesson plans and teaching grade 2 and 3 students in Suva, Fiji❖ Organized after school activities for children❖ Provided help outside of classroom for those who were in need of extra assistance with homeworkConsistently provided detailed and strategic feedback to improvefuture results
