As the Studio Manager, I managed the day to day operations of the studio, where 45 artists created artwork, corporate commissions, gallery exhibitions and special community projects. I initiated a studio redesign for the artists after engaging in several feedback sessions and design charettes about their physical, sensory, and emotional wellness needs. This included creating a sensory safe zone and sound booth in our open studio space, providing individual artist desks and storage for career oriented artists, better supply organization, and more ergonomic furniture options. I developed and executed a monthly Artist eNewsletter which created more effective communication of internal and external deadlines, community events, and organizational announcements to the artists, teaching artists, and volunteers. I successfully supervised two studio assistants and created teaching opportunities for both positions. I initiated studio visits for Access Artists with several local art galleries and art consultants, as well as formal critiques with the organization's Gallery Manager, forming the beginning of professional practice course and future artist residency.
