The Lausanne Guide, a community project I co-founded over a decade ago, reaches thousands of English-speaking readers in the Lausanne area. Our mission is to help residents connect with their city and community through content that highlights the best businesses, events, and activities Lausanne has to offer.In 2021, I took a year away from my corporate career to reinforce the foundation of The Lausanne Guide, setting up sustainable business processes and cultivating local connections to ensure the project’s longevity. During this time, I developed a business strategy for the publication, integrating advertising and sponsored content into our editorial in a way that aligns with our values and engages our audience.Working closely with our advertising clients, I coached them to define their brand story and identify meaningful connections with our readership. Through this approach, I helped bring their products and services to life for our audience, creating authentic, engaging experiences that resonate within the community.
