Within High Performance Building - Building Material Protection department at Dow Corning, development of new environmentally friendly water repellents for construction materials (wood, cementitous matrixes, porous substrates). I enjoyed a professional position that combines lab work, project management and customer contact. I particularly enjoyed answering customers needs and help them reaching their goals.R&D Engineer within High Performance Building department at Dow Corning. Development of environmentally friendly Si-based solutions used as water repellents for building materials. Work carried out in the frame of European project Life Plus, called SILEX. I acquire some good knowledge on silicone chemistry and I would be happy to share it on project, to add value to customers and company.Understanding of interactions between coatings and substrates, improvement/ optimization of existing products to turn towards formulations with low environmental impact. Project management. Take part of European and Walloon projects.Support for project partners, ensuring good communication.Product commercialization.
