The Women’s Leadership Symposium provides an opportunity for female students in the Sigmund Weis School of Business to learn from and interact with exceptional women, especially our alumni in an intense two-day format. My duties include: Assisting with identification and recruitment of speakers, company hosts, and alumni volunteers, creating and delivering.

My leadership positions within Kappa Delta Sorority allow me to capitalize on teamwork and communication. I have acquired the experience of organizing and motivating large groups, planning and executing events, educational workshops and activities, developing and sharing my creative capacities through designs and decorations, raising funds toward.

I have the exciting pleasure of scooping ice-cream, utilizing a cash register and interacting with customers during the summer at Kaboodles Ice-Cream Parlor in Normandy Beach.

NBIA Normandy Beach NJ

I work five days a week at a Bay Beach Camp in Normandy Beach, NJ. The location on the Bay provides endless activities of water fun and games for children ages 3-12. I am responsible for guiding indoor and outdoor activities like art, swim, tennis, lunch, walking to the beach and planning games for my twenty campers. I enforce safety and provide first aid.

Through this internship with JDJ Productions I'm learning the elements of event planning. From sourcing venues, assisting with production needs onsite during events, creating spreadsheets and creative documents, to performing receptionist and general office administrative duties, I couldn't have found a more exciting company to spend the summer with.
