I am responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to achieve demanding growth targets for the Food for Life Served Here (FFLSH) award - formerly Catering Mark - in existing, and new sectors (public and private sector). I lead on engagement with senior management and strategic stakeholders to promote )(Food for Life Scotland) FFLS values and principles; influencing and motivating sustainable behaviours through uptake of the FFLSH and the Sustainable Food City model.I work closely with the FFLS team to develop and support a number of exemplar ‘place based’ pilots using both the FFLSH and SFC as frameworks for change.For allocated accounts, I take personal responsibility for establishing, developing and managing all aspects of the relationships; providing expert advice and guidance on the FFLSH standards to existing and potential FFLSH users.I conduct needs assessments/gap analysis against FFLSH standards, producing bespoke action plans and supporting caterers at every stage of their journey in achieving the award.I support caterers and their wider teams in embedding the values and principles of the FFLSH across the wider organisation as part of the FFLS ‘whole setting’s’ approach which involves developing and delivering bespoke training, briefings and workshops for staff.I also work in supply chain development and work across sectors to develop market opportunities for producers and processors by helping caterers source more seasonal, local and organic food.

I currently provide support to all 4 of Senscot's thematic social enterprise networks; culture, sport, health and community food. I am particularly involved in developing the membership base, producing case studies to inform best practice/share knowlegde as well as various research projects, all to facilitate and enhance the profile and success of social enterprises on the ground in Scotland.

In this role I am responsible for managing the internal workings of the office, providing administrative support to the team, dealing with the financial systems and generally helping to develop the work of Senscot (Social Entrepreneurs Network Scotland).

Short term employment undertaking research and surveying work at various Scottish universities. Responsible for gathering feedback on Zero Waste Scotland's 'Recycle and Reward' scheme.

I was responsible for publicity, outreach, communications and engagement across both the student and staff population as well as the wider community.Some of the projects I worked on include:• Development and delivery of the Staff Environmental Awareness Campaign which includes delivering workshops, collating material and recruiting new members of staff for the Environmental Facilitators Programme. • Designing and delivering environmental awareness training for University staff.• Working with the University Catering Manager to create the University Sustainable Food Policy and Action Plan.• Writing and updating various policies and reports e.g. Climate Change Report, Energy Strategy. • Facilitating and supporting the endeavours of student environmental societies.• Coordinating and facilitating the St Andrews Green Week 2013.• Chairing the University Fairtrade Steering Group and sat on the Town Fairtrade Committee to provide further support.

I worked in the reception/office before the event dealing with ticket sales, telephone queries, entries and general administration. I then worked during the event managing one of the entrance gates. This was an important role involving dealing with the public, managing and directing a team, cash handling and radio control.This is an annual event and I have only worked in this position during the summer months of June and July. I have been invited back each subsequent summer since I started in 2007, filling a more demanding management position with increased responsibility both in the office and at the event year on year due to previous efficiency and commitment.
