Responsible for programming, implementing, testing, and commissioning projects on the power generation industry and field engineering services along Latin America: Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Panama and Ecuador. Emerson Ovation Distributed Control System specialist.Main projects:CELEC POWER PLANT – Ecuador (April 2018 – August 2018): As a project owner and engineer leader, the following statements were part of my work activities:Project management: • Planning and design of the project build of material. • Calculation of the time necessary to develop the project. • Constant monitoring of the material delivering and the general state of the project scheduling.Project development: • Logic programming of the BOP (Balance of Plant) system. • Creation of the graphics that provides the interface between the operator and the DCS (Distributed Controlled System)• Assistance to field service engineers.• Field service engineer: loop test, system installation, historian installation and configuration, logic and graphics load, ELC configuration (DNP3 protocol).Nihuil III hydroelectric power plant – Argentina (March 2017 - September 2017): As project engineer, my main responsibilities were:• Logic translation from electric circuit (relay diagram) to Ovation DCS.• Programming of the complete control logic of the electric substation.• Creation of the graphics that provides the interface between the operator and the DCS (Distributed Controlled System).• Field service engineer: commissioning, loop rest, logic and graphics load, configuration of the ELC (Modbus protocol, serial), configuration of the fan outs and switches.
