Since this was during active drilling operations this information provided DPO's (dynamic positioning operators) critical safety information that carried great Environmental, and vessel personnel safety implications.

Expert in optimizing Dynamic Positioning Control systems using PID controllers, sensory inputs from global, local, and hydro-acoustic reference systems, Thrusters, and Switchboard power configurations. Tuned PID controllers to allow vessels to hold within one meter of GPS location using Kalman filter algorithms implemented in C++, Running on real-time proprietary operating systems, and microcontrollers using standard version control tools(VSS / GIT).Performed incident investigations using log files to convert data into graphical representations, and compiled a comprehensive guide, to help conclude user error or system fault.
