My company, The Arachnyd Music Academy, focuses on developing children’s unique creative voices as well as fostering each students' self awareness and emotional intelligence. The Arachnyd Music Academy teaches children how to reclaim who they are, and helps them to recognize and proudly take ownership of their own innate abilities, all the while helping them to develop mastery around creative self-expression and self-awareness. It's true that the wind may blow, and that the web of our lives may become disturbed. It is also true that a storm may come, or that a big animal may walk by and our web becomes destroyed. But, we are born to create, and with destruction we are gifted new opportunities to make something new, to build something even stronger due to the knowledge amassed when we attempted to construct our lives the first time around. But it is that experience and knowledge that allows us to build bigger, better, stronger, more durable things.As a music educator with over ten years' experience teaching children and adults, I teach music as an interdisciplinary approach - as a medium to connect all of a students' likes and interest so that they are more excited and engaged.Our programs are the following: 🎹 Virtual Conservatory - We customize each of the students Music & Coaching sessions around their likes and social-emotional needs. I believe this is necessary so that kids have the tools to tackle self-judgement and criticism, fear and doubt, and stress. This allows them to become more self-confident, self-reliable, and self-trusting human beings able to communicate their emotions and needs to their families, friends, and peer communities.🎼 Masterwork Series - We invite artists - musicians, wellness coaches, children’s book authors, and child therapists from around the nation (and soon from around the world) to come and collaborate with me.✨ The Quest for the Creativity Crystal - It is an epic-musical-outer-space adventure that leads young students through the basics of music fundamentals - rhythm, theory, composition and performance practices - and introduced learners to planetary science and mineralogy.If you are interested in any of the programs for your school, email me directly at: Sarah@ArachnydMusicAcademy.com
