Mission: My thesis propose to design and fabricate two ultra-low power ASIC circuits called "Artificial Neurons" using recent advances in neuroscience and nanotechnology. These Novel ASIC circuits (artificial neurons) can be extremely useful for a large variety of applications, ranging from data analysis (image and video processing) to medical aspect (neuronal implants).1. Outstanding scientific results: *Patent filing in 2016 for the realization of a novel neuroinspired circuit*Improvement of the state of the art of 2 orders of magnitude in energy consumption and 1 order of magnitude in ASIC's surface *Experimental demonstration of stochastic resonance in non-linear systems4.
