Working as a Process Engineer for Voyant Beauty Cortland was an experience that taught me perseverance and flexibility. I put my process design and improvement skillset to use in a variety of projects while managing and maintaining a USP-grade water production system and an ultrafiltration wastewater treatment system, among other utility systems. Key Projects:• Identified critical failures to maintain operation of a deionized USP water production system to keep compounding batching continuous• Designed and implemented an in-line sampling process to include quality monitoring of continuous deionization (CDI/EDI) water units to reduce system downtime during maintenance periods by 75%• Worked with city officials and management to renew city permit for industrial discharge, and maintained permitting requirements for a wastewater ultrafiltration treatment system• Redesigned water source piping for industrial boilers to eliminate dangerous scale buildup and blockages, and save $2k/year in maintenance costs• Planned and installed new double-sided mezzanine gates to keep elevated openings blocked during loading to eliminate safety concerns
