Highlights included winning the TUANZ Education Award in 2007 for Te Tuhi ā-Hiko, digital writing activities in te reo Māori. I initiated this project as research and development, and it was also commercialised for the US market. We also won the TUANZ Best of the Best Award in 2005 for Taiaha and other stories, an electronic storybook for struggling readers. I presented at the International Reading Association conference in Florida on this project. -
