Brian Kush and I combined our years of experience as CPAs, executive leadership coaches and entrepreneurs to create Intend2Lead, a leadership development firm that that coaches CPAs to access the Dimension of Possible: an elevated place where fear is no longer the enemy, and love reigns. I believe in the magic of collaboration. Supporting the success of women is a purpose that has infused not only my career, but my entire life. I founded the Ellivate Alliance to connect people, ideas and resources in a way that creates powerful new opportunities to elevate women entrepreneurs. We provide women who are starting a business the inspiration, practical know-how and like-minded community to accelerate their growth during the critical start-up phase. We simplify women's businesses and lives by providing education, coaching and access to high-quality resources in one easy place, at an affordable price.

We coached women executives and entrepreneurs (and those aspiring to be!) to access the Dimension of Possible: an elevated place where fear is no longer the enegy, and love reigns. Our coaching team used two primary approaches: 1) one-on-one coaching and 2) the Ellivate MasterMind, a coaching-based, personal and leadership development experience for an intimate group of like-minded women.

As the national audit partner-in-charge and a member of the executive and human resources committees, I focused on building a strong infrastructure to enhance the firm’s professional development programming, human resources function, and audit processes. I oversaw firm strategy, compensation, personnel management and the managing partner’s performance. I was also responsible for overseeing the training and development of approximately 60 professionals in 6 offices. I believe the most significant impact I made at PMB was empowering the manager team to step into leadership roles within the firm and create their own positive contributions to the firm’s culture, which was how I discovered my desire to become a leadership coach. During my time at PMB, I learned how to balance the structure of leadership development programming with the customization necessary to accommodate individual learning styles, which Brian and I leverage in Intend2Lead.

I coordinated and managed audits from start-up private companies to large, multi-national public companies. This included nurturing client relationships, developing strong teams, and managing the audit process from start to finish to ensure quality service and timely delivery. During my years at PwC, I served in various local and regional leadership roles in the areas of portfolio management, mentoring, recruiting, and office events. This is where I began to develop and instruct training courses for staff, partners and clients, which planted the seeds for my future in leadership development programming.

During my two year tour as a PwC National Office consultant, I worked with the firm’s US Assurance leadership team. Teams across the country sought my guidance on how to enhance the quality and streamline the performance of their audits. I spent approximately half of my time providing on-site coaching to Fortune 500 client engagement teams as they underwent inspection by our profession’s regulators, the PCAOB. This experience greatly enhanced my ability to provide positive support to people undergoing a very stressful experience.I also had the opportunity to author several thought-leadership articles on behalf of PwC that were distributed firm-wide and more broadly to the firm’s clients and communities of influence across the country.
