Teaching is so much more fun when each class is like throwing a party! I guide everyone step-by-step through a painting while rocking out to tunes, playing silly games, and having social media contests (with prizes, of course!).

I serve as principal arts educator and content expert by planning and facilitating art activities for the "Arts For All" program. I incorporate painting, ceramics, sculpture, drawing, collage, recycled art, photography, and other media.I plan, promote, and assist in executing high-quality arts exhibitions. This includes installing artwork, taking inventory, designing program brochures, and prepping refreshments for receptions.I formulate, manage, and teach art activities for specialized art camps, exposing youth to the language, aesthetics, history, and production of art. I promote upcoming events and programs in a biweekly e-newsletter, and create content for social markets such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

I taught multi-disciplinary High School Painting for grades 9 - 12. I planned lessons and projects that met students' needs and interests that also met the state academic standards.I co-managed the after school art club that meets weekly to plan and execute specific projects that promote self worth and ability.
