Responsible for supporting, developing and promoting regional tourism across the West Coast, North West Coast of Tasmania and King Island.

Engaging with local operators, understanding their business, their products and their markets. Identifying where there may be opportunity for them to grow their business locally, nationally and internationally. Working with the travel trade; inbounds, wholesale, airlines and more for the Western Market. Assisting them in understanding all that is on offer in Queenstown, from generic 'Southern Hemispheres premier four season lake and alpine resort', down to specific individual operator/product knowledge and contacts. Planning for future sales calls, trade shows, and/or preparing and facilitating activity familiarisations, or accommodation inspections.

• Support the Business Event Managers and Premium Trade Managers in the delivery of product development activity, particularly in the organisation and management of famils. • Co-ordination of New Zealand industry attendance at offshore Business Events trade shows.• Administration of TNZ’s evaluation and measurement process for all famil and training activity, providing insights into best practise. • Provide data/research support to the Business Events and Premium team by keeping up to date with various data/research resources.• Build and maintain expert product knowledge of New Zealand tourism products.
