Drinking Water Quality Manager
As the Drinking Water Quality Manager for the City of Ann Arbor, I was a leader in our PFAS research and response and managed water quality from source to tap. This included source water monitoring and protection, outreach to upstream sources, management of the treatment plant's research portfolio, collaboration with various research partners, leadership of internal research projects, day-to-day and long-term treatment process optimization and troubleshooting, management of operations and laboratory staff, maintenance of compliance, and leadership of communication and outreach, which includes giving plant tours, handling customer complaints, guest lecturing at local universities, speaking with community groups, serving on expert panels, presenting at conferences, participating in pop-up events, and developing outreach materials.
