Program designed to provide community-based, long-term solutions by diverting individuals in crisis from the criminal justice system. Co-authored CJMHSA Planning Grant to implement Sequential Intercept Mapping, assessing gaps pertaining to vulnerable population interactions with criminal justice system. - Conducted research, and created organizational, strategic planning and communication documents for a new Center for Health & Wellbeing, a state-of-the-art, unique healthy living center focused on improving the quality of life for residents of all ages from Winter Park, Maitland, Eatonville and the surrounding area. - Managed approximately $1 million in grants annually to implement a school-based health and wellbeing initiative impacting the physical and mental health of over 12,000 students. - Co-conducted healthy community indicator research that cross-referenced key healthy community indicators. Matrix was incorporated into City of Orlando’s Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan (Appendix H).

As Project Manager, coordinated multi-disciplinary aspects for both Government and private sector development clients in establishing entitlements for small-scale and large-scale projects, and creating reports for policy decisions. Responsibilities included detailed project management among other disciplines within and outside of the company, due diligence research and reporting, review of local government code, preparation of comprehensive policy plan, rezoning, concurrency and development plan applications, conducting original research, and technical writing.

As coordinator for the Active Living by Design Initiative, I led program efforts to determine design features of the built environment impacting citizens' ability to become more active in their lives. I coordinated and conducted a City of Orlando-wide street assessment of the built environment leading with results leading to systemic changes in the City's development process. As a researcher, editor and co-author of a sustainability Initiative, I researched key indicators and data points in the environmental, economic, social and individual well-being fields; Co-authored and edited indicator text for sustainability publications: Legacy 2000, Legacy 2002, Children and Youth Indicator’s Report and myregion.org’s seven-county regional sustainability report.As coordinator for Orlando’s Promise, an America's Promise demonstration site, I served as liaison to national America’s Promise office and implemented the initiative at the local (City of Orlando-wide) level.
