Helped plan a fundraiser for a local charity. I contacted local businesses about our fundraiser, contacted people to donate money or even attend the fundraiser. Created posters for advertising purposes. With the fundraiser we raised over $7,000 for Project Kare. A local charity that raises money to help children in the area get school supplies, and have graduation parties.

I was an intern for a summer helping out the special events manager with consulting with brides about the wedding packages offered by the museum. Contacting local businesses, making packets for the bride to look at, helping set up and tear down special event decorations.
